Chessie is what happens when two people who love luxury and interior design, thrive on destinations and memories, and are driven by their noses.
We started Chessie to compile all of those memories of places we have traveled, that are physically impossible to attribute to a singular souvenir, let alone fit in our luggage. Long after the fudge has been eaten and we've forced our friends and family over to view slides of our latest vacation, we want Chessie to act as that connection to a moment in time. We hope it does that for you too.
Chessie means peace
Chessie comes from an old Slavic name meaning "peace". Which is exactly what we hope our candles bring you, we know they do for us! We are also BIG fans of The Parent Trap, featuring the best sidekick ever in Chessy, spelled a bit different than us, but Lisa Ann Walter brought all the peace to that role.
