No AI Policy

What a time we live in to even put together the words "no AI" and "candle company"... but here we are.

We here at Chessie have taken an intentional approach to not use AI in the creation of our work. From candles and scent formulations, to what we name our scents; all the way through to branding and marketing. Our reasoning is twofold: the environment is too important to ignore and there just is no substitute for the human brain.

When we have photos taken, we pay talented photographers to take them.

When we have videos created, we pay talented videographers and editors to create them.

One might ask why we didn't write this alongside our pledge to the environment, but while this sits closely related to that commitment; we felt a dedicated page echoed the true gravity.
